Lisa Marie Presley Gives Birth To Twin Girls

Add another set of twins to the long list of celebrity children. Lisa Marie Presley, daughter of the legendary Elvis Presley, has given birth to twin daughters. The twins were born on October 7, 2008 via c-section. A rep for Lisa Marie and her husband, Michael Lockwood states “The babies and mom are happy and healthy and resting at home.” The name of the babies have not been released at this time.

This is Lisa Marie’s 3rd and 4th child, as she has two previous children from her marriage to Danny Keough. Thank goodness she wasn’t with Michael Jackson long enough to have any of his children!

Hopefully her children can grow up healthy and happy and wish them all the best!

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer Reuniting?

According to US Weekly Magazine, Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer were spotted on a date together last week in Boston. They reunited with each other to attend a Ray LaMontagne concert. After that they flew off to New York city together to spend the weekend with each other.

According to the rumors, the reason why Aniston and Mayer split up in August of this year was because Aniston wanted a bigger commitment from Mayer and a baby. I guess Jennifer Aniston is really desperate, that she would want a baby from a man that she has only been dating for 4 months. No wonder why Mayer ran in the first place. So, if that was the case, does she think that he has changed or has she changed her mind about the baby? Or is she going to be one of those girls who says that they changed and don’t want a baby and then accidentally gets pregnant. I guess we will have to wait and see what happens with these two again, but I’m guessing it’s not going to work again.

Emma Watson – Flare Magazine November 2008 Cover Girl

After flaunting her stuff on the cover of Vogue Italy for September, Emma Watson is now covering the November 2008 issue of Flare Magazine. This girl really does amaze me when it comes to femininity. Since then, I’ve watched her grow from a cute kid to a daring and sexy young woman. She really does have the potential of becoming one of the hottest and most talked about celebrity in Hollywood. And because of that we’ll be seeing more of Emma Watson’s hotness from top to bottom.

In an interview with Flare Magazine, the actress talked about the relationship with her co-stars as well as the filming of the Harry Potter the Half-Blood Prince Movie, which is due to be released in theaters this July 2009. She also added that she wants to take a break from acting and would focus on finishing her education.

I wanted everything to be so perfect. I would work so hard to memorize my lines and the scene; we would have to stop shooting because I was mouthing Rupert’s and Daniel’s lines at the same time. That’s something I had to get over. I had to cry for the first time when Hermione watches Ron kiss Lavender. It was difficult to bring up all that emotion and hurt in front of a full crew, and not just once, but over and over again from different angles.

Julianne Moore's "Blindness" faced protest by National Federation of the Blind

While "Panic" might be a more appropriate title, Blindness is in some ways like Children of Men, another post-apocalyptic film starring Julianne Moore and Marc Ruffalo. The film, based on a novel by Fernando Meirelles(the director of The Constant Gardener and City of God), tells the grim story of what happens to humanity when hope is either lost or taken away.

The National Federation of the Blind, the nation's oldest and largest organization of blind people,yesterday announced its strong objections to the forthcoming Miramax film.

This is a story in which the inhabitants of an unnamed city suddenly go blind. Fearing that the mysterious blindness is contagious, the government quarantines the blinded citizens in an abandoned asylum, where moral, social, and hygienic standards quickly deteriorate and the blind extort valuables, food, and sex from one another. Only one woman, played in the film by Julianne Moore, remains able to see, feigning blindness to remain with her husband. She is portrayed as physically, mentally, and morally superior to the others because she still has her sight.

The movie reinforces inaccurate stereotypes, including that the blind cannot care for themselves and are perpetually disoriented, according to the NFB.

“We face a 70 percent unemployment rate and other social problems because people don’t think we can do anything, and this movie is not going to help _ at all,” said Christopher Danielsen, a spokesman for the organization.
