Nicole Plays a Transexual in Anand Tucker's 'The Danish Girl'

Sexy mom Nicole Kidman could be gunning for another Oscar with her latest film directed by Anand Tucker. Of course it may also spell disaster if it has even the slightest flaw.

Nicole Kidman is set to play Einar Wegener, the world's first post-op transsexual, in the true story adaptation of her and her marriage to Greta Wegener to be played by Charlize Theron. The film is called The Danish Girl.

Their marriage took a sharp left turn after Einar (Kidman) stood in for an female model that Greta (Theron) was set to paint. When their portraits become wildly popular in 1920s Copenhagen, Greta encouraged her husband to adopt the female guise.

What began as a harmless game led Einer to a metamorphosis and landmark 1931 operation that shocked the world and threatened their love.

Pre-production has begun but no details on a principal photography start date have been disclosed. The sexy celebrity will next be seen in the epic feature Australia on November 26 and was prominently featured in the first official image from the Rob Marshall musical Nine.
